How did today start? I was up all night, and then I got up early to finish writing contracts for all star weekend and to handle backlash from Mondrian meetings. Despite not having a legal degree I find myself piecing many a contract together, definitely spent too much time on that today.
Meetings blazzy blah ended up at Silver in the depths below the downtown clubs getting a check, then had some drinks at Majerles, then some drinks at Loco, where I talked with Aaron Seaford about new years (which i vaguely remember, but the event went decent, although not exceptional).
We were supposed to host a new night launching at Sugar Daddies but when we finally got there (hours late) it was empty so we went to Axis (??) and I chopped it with Matt, then went around to Suede, PCL, Myst etc. Everything pretty much sucked, but Justin Gurian gave me a clue to his new thrift spot "The elephant walks only on Tuesdays" and it's the first of several I have to decipher to get the location. Then we were at Suede and a bouncer jumped the gun and choked out my friend Nick and dragged him out for no apparent reason which is a mistake because we're with the roommate of the gm or something like that and it all turned to ridiculousness and I left the fear and loathing. They we're playing to much angry rap (Never Scared into Bia Bia etc) and I hadn't had a drink since five and I felt adrenaline so I figured I'd get out before drunkenness erupted.
