Adrenaline Rush

One of the longest days of the year. We loaded the Uhaul at 9am and moved in the Arizona heat (112 ugh), pretty brutal took us all day and a couple carloads. Then I had to get to the DMV in rush hour to get an open title for my whip to get it sold so I never have to return to Tempe... After that hit the gym, did a flyer, sound check, 35 minute nap, concert.

Being a part of something successful is one of the best feelings I've ever had. Tonight we did another show at Radius, this time an 18+ show for Jerry'd Bayless NBA party, and even though the track list went wrong with the dj, and the hype was strange, we rocked the kids and did our thing. Nothing ever goes perfect :) Except Iguana Macks... The Silver Medallion name is out here, and seeing hard work pay off feels great. The show money, the girls, the business partners, the parties, even the workdays, it's all amazing. And shocking. As Weezy says "Even I look in the mirror, like is it you?".

Finally completely moved out the hell of a house I was living in, just a pit of negative energy. Our new place is in Scottsdale, no one knows where it is, it's large and bright and the lights are solar powered, quiet as can be and walking around in it gives me a drive o succeed so I never have to go back to the dirty life. No crackheads fighting, strange neighbors, no circle k robberies, no cops at the door, no smoking, no dirtiness, no parties, just a nice house with an office surrounded by successful people. Something I need right now for the next few months before the real tour kicks off (February we're trying to go international!)

Anyway, sold my Cadillac, buying a new bike, back in the office everyday, and this time with a drive based on desire not desperation. Can't complain.

Tomorrow (or today now I guess) we're at Martini Ranch, we got bumped up because of our hype so we actually are directly before the Phunk Junkeez, can't wait to rock this venue, the sound system is crystal clear and they have dope lights and a crowd used to seeing new bands. Usually we have to win over clubs who have never seen anyone perform there, this should be remarkably easier.

During the day I have to go to a huge building space a client just bought to build a haunted house (???) with a bar, and then do renderings and blueprints for the space as they envision it to clear with the Fire Marshall. My projects keep getting stranger, but hey, whatever pays the bills.
