I’m so not about the Scottsdale clubs on weekends.
By virtue of my friendships at Lyte we got a reserved parking space in front of the club, but my night was a total disaster after that. Someone gave my girl a roofie at Myst and that went only as well as you could imagine. People were taking pictures of me with camera-phones and I hate that now that the-dirty is so popular I’m always tripping like making people erase pictures while I watch and getting at people about it… Dudes we’re talking shit to me, and when I’m out with a girl and not my boys it gets hella awkward, and Myst is the only club I don’t feel safe in because none of my people work there. Now that we’re on tv every week and the radio every day I get tripped out that everyone knows me and keeping a low profile is hard with my people. Myst also just sucks as a club, the only good thing is that Gloryhole opens for MSTRKRFT next week, which was the thing I’m happiest about making happen in recent memory, that’s a show I’d go see if I wasn’t at spring break… Spring break is about to be awesome, I’m really excited about our set
Ugh. No more Scottsdale on weekends, I hadn’t done it for months but it was someones birthday yadda yadda. Back to the grind today, took some pics for Space and Cipo, their new stuff is produced by 4-5 and is pretty cool, they could sound like an Arizona Evidence/Alchemist/prodigy thing if they keep at it, and I can dig that.
