Ah yes. I've been listening to a ton of Cobra Starship and Lil Wayne (sigh) and getting in touch with what the youth like, and while it's not pretty it has led to me writing some of the best material I've written yet, including our new song A Girl Stole My Girlfriend (Running Just as Fast As I Can).
Strange times.
Worked most of the day yesterday, I was babysitting a cat (yes) that got picked up and then went down to old town to have some drinks at Loco with Jason until our photo shoot with XPOZ. Yazzie from Eye Behold took the shots and they looked pretty amazing. Mostly because we're all super fitted, Hot Rod had some matching scarf/skully/vans checker print that was pretty hot and of course 40k in G-Unit diamonds, Carnegie looks like the 2009 black Columbo (sp?), trenchcoat, GQ style ankle and wrist showing sleeves and pants, and of course the now trademark bowtie. I look like a member of Poison decided to pay attention to 2009 runway fashion and we have glowing guitars and it was kinda awesome. Yves Saint Laurent v-neck is my new favorite clothing item.
Mad props to Yazzie and his people they were super professional and the shots were very clean and they were personable people.
After that it was back to Loco and then briefly to Skin then back over to Loco, then to Furio and I woke up with a pocket full of two dollar bills.
