Totally Michael- Casual Satisfaction (Hot Pink Delorean Remix)

First of all, the name Hot Pink Delorean RULES for an electro group. Meanwhile the name Totally Michael sucks. But the music is banging so it's irrelevant...

Performed at PCL last night, and my people got me way too out of hand to perform correctly, so it went pretty mediocre (and after a great soundcheck too, damn), but it was only one song and the whole drunken rockstars thing is good for the image. Luckily on Wednesday Tranzit is such a good dj nobody really cares.

Our relationship with PCL is a super long story, it's honestly the most talked about club in Arizona, I knew people who had never even seen the inside of it until Carnegie took them in once we started getting love for Silver Medallion. More on that later...

It's a tight club, small so it's easy to look cracking, two good VIP areas, pretty solid djs for Scottsdale, a tight looking bar and interior, and strict door policy. I remember it being an odyssey (I had to google that spelling, scary) to get in when we first started going to Scottsdale, and for all the work to get in their it never seemed any better than the other clubs. Honestly looking back at it all it's a surefire pick of where to go in Scottsdale, I have never seen it not cracking, or not have hot girls, and the dj has never been so bad I've had to leave (like Dirty Pretty or 6, shudder).

The biggest thing about PCL is it's door policy, they don't let people in out of their dress-code or even really their target demographic. Most of my black friends have horror stories of just being denied no matter what and I'm not gonna say that the club is racist, because I genuinely like a lot of the staff that work there and don't believe they feel that way, but there's a very disenfranchised portion of the Scottsdale nightlife scene who have had an offensive experience there.

Performing there was definetly a benchmark in our AZ music careers, never heard of anything like that happening before, and honestly, I don't know if I'll ever go there again, getting tired of these same Scottsdale clubs, trying to see something different for a change.

Tomorrow night out to PHX and Party Foul most likely, writing some last chunks of the album tonight.
