Anyway.

On to last night.

Last night we had our weekly night at Lyte which we host, which went suitably terrible, we're in the several month process of building up a following, establishing the night etc. but we're right in the middle of the worst phase right now and kinda grinning and bearing it while we print more flyers and pretend like we don't want to go party elsewhere...

But if we were to party elsewhere, we would have gone to Dirty Pretty on Tuesday, because Living Canvas Tattoo was having its anniversary there, and DJ Fashen was there, and even though he doesn't play electro when hes there and we're always mad reminiscing about when he killed the Diplo show at Clubhouse with Faux Show it's still hot. Dirty Pretty is cool inside, it's supposed to be a rockbar, but damned if we've ever heard rock music in there, or seen anyone resembling a rocker/hipster in there... Probably some last night for the Living Canvas thing. All I know is it was cracking at like 930 (way early for Scottsdale) and they wouldn't let our boys who DJ in Phoenix in for various dress code violations, so they came to Lyte and we argued about Kanye's new track "Love Locked Down".

I have a love/hate relationship with Dirty Pretty, apparently I was in there wasted the other week with my boy from Lyte and drank a bunch while DJ Diesel played our song "Scottsdale" (you're the man Diesel) and then one of the GM's got all on me a few days later about taking advantage of free booze and since then I've kinda been hating just because I don't like crowd that goes there (lots of LA Fitness Affliction types), but they do have DJ Fashen and my boys Jon and Chad promote there and I should really just buck up and like it... Anyway, next Tuesday I'm gonna roll through and cause various shenanigans assuming our internet expose of the place doesn't lead us to get banned from our already tedious relationship with clubs under that ownership.

And if we didn't got there on Tuesday, we'd probably go by Acme to see Dow and Justin Gurian and hit on college girls, but honestly I've never been there and probably won't and maybe when we think about it Tuesday just isn't the same without Pink Taco or Next popping .

That's the state of affairs, today we're in the studio working on a feature called "#1 Fan", getting ready to perform with Shwayze tomorrow at Venue of Scottsdale!
