Went out last night damn near by accident, some girls I new were out and I popped into the club to take pics at the step and repeat for the Real World casting. Then the Lyte cats we're going to Tempe to check out a promoter, so I rolled along for that. We went up to the door and was informed said promoter did not work there, strike 1... Checked out the new Whip Lounge (formerly the loft, which I have a strange love and hate relationship with). The new interior was pretty hot, but Friday night on Mill and no girls or party people really in there, hope it picks up...
I remember all sorts of times at The Loft. I djed there once and as we we're packing up a fight broke out outside and the cops swooped in on horseback and maced the whole block. The doors we're locked and I remember seeing people clawing at the window glass while we all watched in relative stunned amazement. This is one of the reasons I no longer would dj on Mill Avenue... Best part about that spot is the dj booth hovering above the dancefloor, pretty cool.

Chilling tonight, might put on a suit and head to the new W, but most likely I'll be revamping the Easel website to reflect our new business changes.
