Things keep getting worse, but the music keeps getting better.
So, the promoter from Vegas we were working with for Friday, Crunklounge, was fined 45,000 on last week for underage drinking. Now if he had TOLD us so instead of being a shady, unproffessional, and useless individual we could have changed our radio, gotten permits etc, instead we found out YESTERDAY, and had to take matters into our own hands. We promoted our event so well with radio and posters that the venue called us up telling us they expect 1500 kids to show up and the liquor board has been calling them guaranteeing they will shut it down. We got insurance, permits, sound, even worked to get in touch with the mayor, but we have no real options. At this point, we have so little money and so much to lose I'm flying out there anyway to figure out how to get things poppin. At this point, there's no denying us as a Vegas entertainment powerhouse and I'll be damned if we're not going to capitalize on this anyway we can.
Cut another song, the middle verse will end up replaced, I'm, on the hook and the third, and it's another classic. With all the pain of everything, the music is starting to just ooze soul...
