Its been continually cloudy out in Hawaii, so the quest for the perfect tan has been put on the back burner... As I continue to work on the thesis, interesting graphics ensue, i like images with implied motion such as the one above, it seems to imply more than just a single image to the viewer.
Today I had some discussions of the role of software in the high school curriculum. My thesis is devoted to the role of informed design in identities to perpetuate information and specifically information pertaining to the culture of places and environments. I think that through design education, if many individuals are educated on design principles then designers will have to hold themselves to a higher intellectual standard to separate themselves as a profession. Interesting thoughts, I hope to develop them further.
