LA looking real nice right now.
That Chester French LA anthem off their Jacques Jam mixtape available for free download "Life in LA", the Ya Boi "We Run LA" breaking out to national radio, Felli Fel and Reflex running the dj scene, Dim Mak Tuesdays... it's a good time for a scene I would have written off two year ago.
We got right to shows off the plane from Hawaii, last night we rocked Cinco De Mayo at Macayos, lines around the block, lines filling up the bar, two dancefloors, fans chanting our names... Pretty crazy. We did two very laid back sets, looking forward to mashing out at Andre Nickitina tomorrow night. AZ's ready to support their own now, people come up to us and buy cds all the time the way they didn't a year ago, people see us as an AZ movement now, people know we're in and out of town its crazy. Watching people heckle other bands by yelling Silver Medallion was a crazy experience yesterday... Makes you feel bad and good at the same time.
Joel djing the dance party on the other floor was awesome as way, from reggaeton to bay area he had it CRACKIN. After Hawaii and LA we feel like we've been around the world lol and rocking a party is no problem, the dj skills of Carn and Joel are really making people look foolish dancin! A good state to be in.
Blasted out Camera on twitter and facebook to get some response, I think we're gonna make a move to the blogs with it this next week, promoting that and Dope Nose. Looking forward to keeping the hype alive...
Tomorrow night Venue of Scottsdale, Sunday Sheraton, next Sunday Sandbar with the pornstars from that one FOX show, then thursday and friday with Pittsburg Slim at Oscar Taylors and Martini Ranch, back to Sheraton that Sunday, then Pink Caberet... Things popping off in May!
