I love the MGMT cd with a passion I haven't had for music in a long time.
My life is also pretty solid at this point. In the studio today cutting a new track, went to the next studio and got new beats (Lif what up), had meetings with cell people about ringtones, and we'll have paperwork done in the next two weeks to make us official musical artists.
Riding around now thinking about how far we've come from freestyle battling and from when I started singing and just everything is very overwhelming. I'm about to turn another year older, and this year whether things work out or not I'll perform in front of thousands of people and really travel for the first time, and that blows my mind to be able to realize things are about to change.
Tomorrow night we host a night at Lyte, and they shoot the promo video for Scottsdale. Our photoshoot involves boomboxes and girls in silver bikinis and legwarmers, and yes we're broke and in too deep but things are looking better and better each day, and at the end of the day I can't wait for the next one.
Pretty cool.
