Scarecrows in Louis Vuitton seem to attract crows.
The first three songs we have that will be available on itunes will be Gravity, Slave and Stop/Go. After really deep consideration we went with the original singles instead of My World, Vampires and Slave. In such a singles based market we can continually reinvent and remarket so it's time to push push push, especially with two pending videos.
Our video for Stop/Go should be done soon. I have to pick up the props today. They made a choice instead of using stock imagery for backgrounds they're going to be handpainted backgrounds by clothing designer J. Pierce. I'm a fan. He's got a Jean-Michel Basquiat thing going on, but more childlike in a good way. Should be pretty surreal.
Tonight we're at Pink Cabaret with Joey Boy. I love strip club shows because you only do a few songs and they pay you well and typically in cash, and strippers love our songs (Slave etc.). And Joey Boy's one of my favorite people for a variety or reasons.
My new house is a guest house of a main house, which is basically a studio apartment in 300 square feet. Complaining I am not, my own kitchen, bathroom etc, and their is minimal wall space so opportunity for mass indie decorating shall commence imminently. Or painting it all matte black. Like Lindsay Lohan's phantom.
The record label people said 10 days. Fingers crossed.
