Our goal for this album is to put together a full dvd of music videos for every song we have and release that separately in the fall, with lots of bonus material.
With out pending itunes agreement, this could also be a pretty cool moneymaker.
We luckily found the person to work with. One of our primary photographers got the new Canon that allows you to shoot HD video and then pick out stills, and add that to his white room and various animation/editing skills and we have options for days.
Our viral team is also growing and very talented.
I remember when we put out the Scottsdale video, which was frickin awesome, and a ton of fun to make. But promoting the video was so hard! Literally we used Spyder and went to every one of our myspace friends and put the video on every page. We got those Vimeo views 1 by 1. We got about 40k views from OnSmash.com but thats the only site we could get exposure from as an "alternative group" or at least an alternative group not in Mickey Avalon's camp. That process was long but we can do it for every video and much faster now that Spyder doesn't have captchas. That gives us a pretty good base to push videos, and now with the email lists we have we have a good start to push this media...
