I have only short periods of time to complete the creative activities that keep me sane, the current state of my life gives me only brief periods to really get myself together, and my attention span decreases daily as my projects become easier to complete due to growing expertise.
I've currently taken to writing third person vignettes about myself written from the perspective of my various former lovers, which has been an interesting exercise in both establishing my self-image, and predicting the danger the future holds if the people Ive interacted with as peers the past 22 years are put in charge of the world at some point.
