In other news, got interviewed for the Arizona Republic today via phone, I think Carnegie gets his half of the interview tomorrow, we'll be in there on August 8th discussing how we're the future or Arizona/music/the democratic party/hedonism/liberalism and everything in between.
In related news rumor has it one of the nightlife features has the cover of next month's 944 and I want to know if it's us or someone else and if it's someone else how can we get press on their level as soon as possible...
I kinda want to get a completely unrelated article in a monthly or weekly publication "Cooking with the Medallion" or "Relationship Help by Silver" just to add an air of randomness to this whole press thing... I mean, if Jon Gluck (Scottsdale Jon Gluck, not the successful Jon Gluck) can get a column in AZ Weekly, the sky is the limit for our press aspirations.
So, just finished a cocktail list for a NY client to be laser engraved into the bar, probably my first design item for laser engraving, not gonna front, can't wait to get pictures of that to toss in the portfolio.
Heading out to the North Shore tomorrow, continuing the quest for the perfect tan (thank you Doonesbury). While Carnegie cavorts around at club afterparties with Steve Aoki in Arizona I'm relearning Rap Replinger's (see below) influence on modern culture and risking life and limb at Sandy Beach.
