My boy went out of town to the heartland this week, so I've had the luxury of a working car (gas is 4.15? im moving to a place with public transit in 6 months no questions) and I've gone to every meeting, club event and possible opportunity available for the last few days, barely seen the inside of my place, and now my eyes aren't ready to stare at a computer screen for 8 hours.
Meetings went well, we're locking up management for the group finally, and I'm very happy with our choices, although we will be leaving some people out to dry who couldn't cut it, which is going to be awkward but necessary. At this point Scottsdale is fun times, they send limos to take us club to club (DJ Tranzit, you're the man), I haven't paid a dollar for anything in weeks, the cameras know whats good and we can stand on things and yell and act a fool and people expect nothing better from us.
This would all be a lot funner if I didn't have to be sober and networking and having intense talks with people while house music blasts at high volumes, and walking is faster than limos (why I don't know), but it's nice to know what the options are. House remix of our scottsdale track is coming soon, and I can't wait to hear what that sounds like.
Just finished mopping the floors at 2am to take my eyes away from the screen, but completed a new logo for a night at Oscar Taylor's in Phoenix, pretty great name in my opinion, and the logo makes it look like they are getting in POPPIN over at The Experience.
Three studio sessions tomorrow (I hope we can get this new Chemical Reaction song done, it's a hit)!
