Finally got the Caddy to pass emissions and got it registered, took about a week, but im so thankful its done and I don't have to work on it anymore, I've been biking to the mechanic everyday this week (at 110, that is no longer fun exercise).
Looking forward to the show friday at the Hidden House in Phoenix, we practiced with DJ Epidemic today at our spot. Doing a mostly hip hop show is so much easier than the super-pop shows, it will be a welcome breather.
Promotion for Battle of the Bands is getting heated... Below you see two of the other bands flyers, with one of ours. And from that you can see just what it is we're dealing with here in Phoenix. We stick out. Like super super sore, and potentially green, thumbs. And it doesn't help the pic is from our "vintage 90's LA Gangster" photo shoot (the Weather Underground photo shoot will see the light soon, and then we're going back to friendly pop pics, i might even get shirtless). Anyway, that show should be a good time, all of the competitors fanbases are significant so it will be well attended. We're on at 7pm and sort of set up to lose because we're the new guys, but people underestimate the size and affluence of our fanbase, not to mention radio play, so we'll see.
