Been a busy weekend, djin, designing, negotiating etc etc. I decided a few days ago that I don't want to forget all my memories the way I draw a blank on the age of 11, in about ten years I want to still have a way to retrieve my days, and my goal is now to write a definitive experience of each day etc. that would be interesting to remember.
Two days ago the definitive experience was our first phone interview for a magazine as a band. Our interview was with Sam Gavin from the ASU State Press, who was impressive in his tone, questions and general journalistic swagger, it was pretty impressive for a college student. His story is that Carnegie sold him a cd for a few dollars outside a Diplo show, and he was pretty out of it, he past out in his car and forgot about the cd. A week later he found it, bumped it, called us, and now we're in the paper. Pretty cool, we we're just handing off the phone talking bout creative process, the Arizona scene, electro, how we met etc. Nice feeling that people care :)
