“Im so hungry I wrote this one in my ex-girl’s diary…” Space
Back in AZ, and I’m reminded of all the good things Phoenix has to offer, our studio, beautiful girls, nightlife every day of the week, never-ending cash flow, our studio, cheap gas, our studio… Did I mention its good to be back in the studio? And I’m not the only one, Space was almost shaking in excitement to get back in the booth. That’s the energy I’m trying to see from these mcs, on all levels. I’m djing Monday night and Space is gonna come through and host during my sets, I’m trying to incorporate old school style dj mc party rocking and get some extra exposure for my crew.
Woke up this morning to no water in the crib I was at, we all gotta get ourselves a little more together, pay our bills etc. in this circle of mine, and this was after a night of dreaming I was busted for drugs and spending my life in jail… A half hour in the sauna at 24 after a swim and I was back in good shape. Last night we went to Pink Taco for a minute, seeing what’s good on a Tuesday night and I dropped some new beats to Carnegie, the latest mc I’m working with at the new studio they just started up down the street. Things are picking up out here, we got events all in July, video clients lining up for the new equipment we’re about to get, and strategic partnerships abound. I’m hoping sometime tonight after the udio I’ll get some time to spin records, I haven’t been on the tables for about four days, and I have mad gigs coming up I gotta get my game on for.
