Long day today, as usual. I shot photos for a rapper, Barshaun out of SD who came down here to perform at Tracks, a venue we are currently discussing as the next place we want to take our promotions operations in. I've been steadily working on some possibilities for what art I am going to submit to the Artists of Hawaii contest/exhibition. I should have that settled and postable by tomorrow. My art is so influenced by design and vice versa and it's hard to be sure what kind of work I want to show off. My current first choice prospect is a huge collection of photos like that on the top of my myspace. Roughly two hundred 2 inch photos stacked on top of each other and edited in various strange ways, and some photo edges are highlighted to spell out "See of Be Seen". We'll see what i end up with tomorrow at the deadline, but it should be interesting.
My morning will be devoted to that and homework, afternoon I shoot a breakdance battle, including bringing the lights to shoot the crew's portraits. After that two hours of djing and its about time I had an early (ier) night.
I've been putting a lot of thought and organization into potential teaching curriculum, and I have the first day down pretty pat, with the second going strong. I can't imagine what a teacher like my dad must do to get every day together, I become lost in a world of potential.
