All these photos started out real light, but I wanted to give them a dark look, it fits with their music. I set the type in the golds and reds that typify phoenix, and made sure to give their most promising rapper, Meek, the official solo jawn with type. No filters on any of these, just lots of saturation and brightness adjustments, and taking out backgrounds (all shots were taken in the studio pictured on the top photo). The crew flick was one of what I thought were throw aways, but Mak's angelic glow was too good to pass up.
